Danish Fashion Institute is open for membership to fashion businesses, schools and individuals with a relation to or an interest in Danish fashion.
Membership costs:
Membership costs DKK 15,000 annually per brand. Clothing manufacturers are further charged DKK 15,000 per year per brand that the company is marketing.

Exemptions from full membership fee:
Exemptions from the full membership fee can be made to companies which have an annual turnover of no more than DKK 3 million.
Subsequently a step by step payment over three years is paid in order to obtain the full membership. The first year you pay DKK 5000, the second year DKK 10.000 and finally DKK 15.000 the third
year.
Applications for exemption are considered on an individual basis by Danish Fashion Institute exceutive board.
If an exemption is granted, the annual membership fee is reduced to DKK 2000 for a maximum of two years. After this, the member pays the full fee.
Requests for exemption must contain:
A description of the company, the brand, and the idea.
Information about time of establishment, creative as well as financial powers behind the brand.
Outlets.
Information about annual turnover.
Photos of the products must be provided. All information will be treated on a confidential basis.
