Danish Fashion Institute has throughout 2008 hosted the event MY STORY, where well-known Danish designers share their fascinating stories and experiences from the industry.
The event is free and open to members of Danish Fashion Institute as well as students from Danmarks Designskole, Designskolen Kolding, TEKO,
BEC Design and CBS.

Peter Ingwersen from Noir tells the story about the challenges in design in relation to climate change and Sexy CSR. He tells the story about his first job,
the ideology behind the brands Noir, Noir Bllack and Illuminati II, including the partnership with the Dutch Bo Weevil and 16,000 farmers in Uganda.

Baum und Pferdgarten will tell their inspiring story about how they started their business as young designers, how it grew and how they got where they are today.

On November 12th Danish Fashion Institute presents the third edition of MY STORY, where Gitte Dyrberg and Henning Kern from Dyrberg Kern will share their story about the journey from dreaming by
the kitchen table to being a global company.

On the 4th of June, designer Trine Skoller presented her story on the start-up of Stella Nova up until her alliance with a CEO. The presentation gave the audience a unique experience of liberating
irregularities combined with a traditional business mindset, as well as a concrete recipe of a series of success factors.
